about

[ÖDL]documents isn't just another new label but the editorial platform of an artists collectivebased elsewhere. Its shape isn't closed and remains open to further developments. We chose the term "documents" because we want to reference our production and organization stuff; and also by tribute for the monumental and exquisite work of George Bataille.
One of the main purposes is the willingness to make DIY objects with a bibliophile touch. Apparent contradiction: trying to mis punk aesthetics and the carefully one dedicated to collectors. We want to rise against this contraries, which are, for our point of view, a fiction.
This compilation include some sound sets that our group has organized during the 2008/2009 season. Most titles are exclusives, composed by the artists at our request. All of them were enthusiastic about this project; may they find here our gratitude.
As the document in the digital era is potential and also because we want to edit original material, the discs are blank. The listening remains in a state of possibility. The songs are downloable in an URL inside the inner sleeve. With you provided PIN, you will find all the details to (finally) take advantage of that for which you have purchase this document.
